Hellcats - Last chance for aggressive cats.

Ameliena's animal welfare project offers dangerous cats from animal shelters that have already seriously injured people a last chance. At Cats Professionals, she provides up to three permanent rehabilitation places for animal shelters and animal welfare associations to work with these cats and then place them in suitable environments. Her heart beats for truly difficult cases, and she enjoys working with the most challenging cats the most. The best theory alone is useless if you cannot put it into practice.

Is the training rather anonymous because it takes place online?

Although the training is online, you can get involved socially as much as you like. There is a peer group in which all trainees support each other and offer advice and assistance. In addition, the mentors are there for you. We want all trainees to get involved and benefit from the Cats Professionals community.

Will I be able to successfully support human-cat teams immediately after completing the program?

Yes! During the program, you will receive all the important skills you need to get started with confidence and competence. Your success depends on your commitment, but we will prepare you thoroughly. Through practical training, you will not only work intensively with cats, but also learn how to lead training sessions and pass on your knowledge. This will allow you to gain valuable experience and confidence in working with human-cat teams during your program. Even after you have successfully passed your exam, we will not leave you on your own. If you are unsure about a case or face challenges, we will continue to be there for you with advice and support. Your success is our goal and we will accompany you on your journey!

Can I do the program alongside my current job?

Yes! The program is designed for this. How much time you spend each week depends on your commitment. We recommend 8 hours in addition to the live meetings.

As a cat trainer, do I only work online, or can I also make house calls?

Advising clients is one part of solving problems. But training is the key to lasting success. Since many cats have a problem with strangers, online training has proven to be effective. It is much more intensive and has the economic advantage that you do not have to factor in travel time and your clients can be located anywhere in the English-speaking world.

Ameliena Flintrose has always been where animals are, and has been hooked on animal training since she was 12. Since then, she has devoted herself exclusively to animal care, biology and psychology. This explains her professional career – trainer certificates from the German Sports Dog Association, horse manager, biology studies, dog trainer and zoo keeper.
